Common Instrument Cluster Issues:

The most frequent problem with this cluster is intermittent or complete failure. The entire unit may power off and on randomly, with the issue becoming progressively worse until the cluster stops working altogether.

When the instrument cluster fails, other body functions—such as door locks—may also stop working. If only a single gauge is malfunctioning, the issue is typically with the sending unit or sensor for that specific gauge. When individual gauges fail and the “Check Gauges” light appears, we recommend inspecting the sender circuit. If you are unsure how to properly diagnose the problem, please seek assistance from a qualified automotive technician.
